  • You will need a valid email address to use the online employment center. If you currently do not have an email address, free email accounts can be acquired from many sites.
  • After completing the on-line registration, you will immediately receive a confirmation email containing a temporary password. Click the Login link and use your email address and temporary password to access the online employment center.
  • Establish and save a permanent password. You will need this password anytime you wish to access the online employment center.

2. Complete work experience and certificate information within your profile.
  • Update Work Experience - This area of your profile should include all pertinent work history beginning with the most current work assignment. All applicants must include the most current and past employer history, even if you are a TUSD employee. The information provided here is used to screen your application and is the only aid in determining your qualifications. It is also used by site administrators to select candidates for interview. Missing or invalid work experience in this section will disqualify your application if qualification cannot be determined. Please include any periods of unemployment and time attending school to fill in gaps of employment.
  • Update Certificate Information - Enter only the certificates you carry with the Arizona Department of Education. If you carry a certificate in another state, provide that information in the "Additional Information" field on your application.

3. Apply for positions by clicking Apply now found on the Job Openings page.
  • Read the requirements of the job within the Job Announcement link.
  • If you meet the minimum requirements and want to submit an application click "Apply now".
  • All fields marked * are required.
  • If an item is not applicable, enter "NA."
  • Submit your complete application by clicking "Submit Application".
  • When your application is received, you will immediately receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your application was not submitted successfully.

What is the estimated time to complete the application?
Building your profile could take a few hours due to the amount information collected. Once your profile is complete, completing the first application will probably take 30 minutes. After you have submitted one successful application, all previously submitted information will populate future applications. Additional applications can be submitted in 10 minutes or less.

What if I close my browser before I submit the application?
You may be required to start over. The system does allow an application to be saved during certain stages. You have not successfully completed the application process until you receive a confirmation email.

Can I attach a reference letter, resume, or certification?
Certifications, reference letters and other documents are not required in order to be considered for a position unless the job announcement specifically asks for required documents. Please review the job announcement for which you are applying to determine if supplemental documents are required.

How can I attach a reference letter, resume, or certification for specific advertisements?
When submitting additional documents, please include a cover letter identifying the job title and job number of the advertisement for which you are applying. This cover letter should also include your name, contact phone numbers and a request to attach the additional documents to your application. HR will not make copies to send with multiple applications.
