KINO PARKWAY & BROADWAY AREA
|This position will supervise fleet maintenance personnel, effectively manage the repair and maintenance of 600+ vehicles and up to three (3) maintenance facilities, and ensure compliance of all District owned transportation vehicles in support of District Goals and Policy.|
Associates degree in Automotive Technology or related field,
ASE Master Certification in Heavy Duty Truck Repair, School Bus Repair, and/or Automobile Repair preferred. ASE Certification must be maintained to remain qualified for position.
Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the maintenance and repair of automotive equipment.
Verbal and written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database and spreadsheet programs.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting maintenance standards for vehicles owned and operated by the School Board.
Two Years Supervisor Experience
Knowledge of basic budget practices and sound financial stewardship principles.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
Automotive Mechanics test will be given.
ADOE Emissions testing certification
Excellent people and leadership skills.
Experience with operating electronic Fleet maintenance and fuel tracking software systems.
Proficiency in the maintenance and operation of diesel motor vehicles and applicable diagnostic technology and basic skills related to CNG systems.
Able to manage and supervise repair operations and fleet service personnel in a dynamic and stressful environment.

Proof of immunity to Rubeola (measles) and Rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Post offer-Pre-employment lift test. Valid AZ. CDL (Class A) license or obtain within 10 days of hire, ADOE Certification for emissions testing within 90 days of hire.
