|Improves professional knowledge and skills; refines instructional skills to enhance student learning while coaching colleagues to do the same through a collaborative team effort. Works to develop and implement instructional units. |
|Knowledge and/or experience as a trainer in the Essential Elements of Instruction, or willingness to complete this requirement within one year
Knowledge of and/or experience as a trainer in the most recent Arizona State Standards (including Early Learning Standards and the Common Core Standards) or willingness to complete this requirement within one year.
Valid Arizona teaching certificate with Arizona SEI (Structured English Immersion).
Three-years Teaching experience
Ability to apply current research in best practices to work with diverse student populations.
Experience facilitating staff development.
Knowledge of Staff Development.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education.
Speak, Read, and Write in English
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
At least 3 years teaching experience at preschool level
Knowledge and or experience training in cognitive coaching or other similar coaching frameworks or methodologies
Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum, Teaching, Educational Administration, subject matter, or related field.
Early Childhood Endorsement posted on AZ Teaching Certificate
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
|Working with preschool teachers on the North, Central and Southern Pima Region. Involves county wide travel. Qualified applicants must have own reliable transportation with proof of insurance and will be reimbursed for mileage.

Implement common, high leverage instructional strategies across the curriculum.
Implement curriculum calendars and common assessments in reading, writing and mathematics.
Plan and implement staff development activities based upon needs.
Improve Teacher skill and capacity through on-site coaching and mentoring.
Monitors assigned school(s) for program effectiveness and compliance with established procedures
Models instructional techniques in classrooms to increase students' academic achievement.
Assist Teachers in previewing and securing appropriate unit development.
Support and implement the District's curricular and instructional initiatives.
Assists with training and implementing Staff Development needs.
Provide on site support and monitoring for the successful school wide implementation and evaluation of any site instructional initiative.
Serves as an advocate for the community for parents who are seeking optional program placements for their children.
